Studio A. Zelenka is an exploration of painting, photography, creative direction, and visual storytelling. Founded by artist and creative director April Zelenka, the studio’s perspective has been shaped by more than fifteen years of working with founders, creative businesses, and entrepreneurs to create experiences that feel as intentional as they are beautiful.

Over the course of her career, she has developed brand identities, directed visual narratives, designed digital experiences, and collaborated with businesses across hospitality, architecture, interiors, travel, and lifestyle. Through that work, she found herself asking the same question, “How should this feel?” And whether through a painting, a photograph, a brand, or a place, it’s a question that continues to guide the studio today.

While design and creative direction remain important parts of her practice, she’s recently returned to painting and to a deeper exploration of her personal creative work. What began as a return to painting has evolved into a broader studio practice guided by observation, intuition, and the belief that meaningful work is created when we slow down long enough to pay attention.
